Careers at Cold Glass Productions

Social Producer – The BRITs & Mercury Prize

We’re looking for a dynamic social producer to join the Cold Glass Productions team, working for one of our key clients, the BPI, across two of the UK’s most iconic music brands: The BRITs and The Mercury Prize.

You’ll be embedded in a creative and fast-paced team delivering bold, high-impact social campaigns across @BRITs & @MercuryPrize channels on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more.

From concept to capture, through edit and delivery, you will be hands-on in crafting content that connects with audiences and drives cultural conversation. You will manage the daily content calendar, working closely with the client, our in-house designers and Managing Editor.

You’ll be as comfortable crafting a snappy TikTok in-app as you are editing a slick highlight reel or jumping into a brainstorm about how to best promote this year’s nominees. You will also collaborate closely with artists, influencers, and industry talent both remotely and on location at live shoots, red carpets, and events.

Strong social video editing skills (Premiere Pro essential), a deep understanding of social-first storytelling, and a sharp eye for what cuts through in the music and pop culture space are all key.

While this role is primarily focused on BRITs and Mercury Prize, there will be opportunities to contribute to other projects across Cold Glass Productions.

Key experience required:

  • Proven experience producing social content in the music, entertainment, or pop culture space
  • Excellent copywriting, adhering to a distinct tone of voice
  • Demonstrable ability to create content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Skilled at both capturing video (phone) and editing social-first content
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong editorial judgment and creative ideas tailored to youth audiences
  • Confident working on fast turnaround edits and reactive content
  • High level of attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • Experience working at or covering live events is a plus

Location:
This is a hybrid role, based in our London office (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) with two days remote working. On-site attendance required for event days and shoots.

How to apply

This is a fixed term contract starting in July 2025 until April 2026 with an opportunity to go full-time. It is a hybrid role with 3 days in our London office and 2 days working from home.

Salary: An equivalent annual salary of £32-37k per year, dependent on experience. This will be pro-rata’d for the length of the contract.
